Our Fees

Fees and Disbursements

Our legal fees vary depending on the complexity of the transaction and this can be discussed with you in more depth but we are able to provide the following information in order to be as transparent as possible:

Purchase Transaction

Typical Legal Fee: £550.00 - £750.00 plus VAT
Typical Disbursements:
Searches: £132.00 (standard pack)
Stamp Duty Land Tax: Variable depending on price *
Final Searches: £5.00 - £7.00
Registration Fee: Variable depending on price but typically £95.00 - £135.00

Please note that if you are purchasing a leasehold property you may also have to pay fees set out in the Lease for example, notice of transfer and charge fees, deed of covenant fee and you should also be aware that ground rent and service charge are likely to apply throughout your ownership of the property. We will confirm the ground rent and the anticipated service charge as soon as this we receive this information.

*Stamp Duty or Land Tax (on purchase)
This depends on the purchase price of your property. You can calculate the amount you will need to pay by using HMRC's website or if the property is located in Wales by using the Welsh Revenue Authority's website here..

Sale Transaction

Re-Mortgage Transaction
Typical Legal Fee: £250.00 - £400.00 plus VAT

The above Legal Fees may also change if you require additional services for example:-
